Today, I launched kellyemrick.org, a collaborative lab for
AI in healthcare where ideas are tested, measured, and shared. The site
functions as a living archive of prototypes, reproducible experiments, method
notes, and lessons learned from real-world scenarios. You will find interactive
demos, lightweight code samples, and practice datasets focused on common
questions faced by leaders, such as price transparency, access barriers,
imaging throughput, referral leakage, quality metrics, and overall costs. Each
project documents evaluation steps, accuracy checks, equity assessments,
failure modes, and operating costs, helping readers understand what works, what fails, and what requires further attention before reaching patients or budgets. I invite
clinicians, analysts, data scientists, and payers to test code and interactive
datasets. Early releases include a hospital price explorer, a population health
hotspot map, and an ROI simulator for new service lines, with additional weekly
updates planned. If you have a challenging problem you'd like to be pressure-tested or
a concept you'd like to co-develop, send it our way. Bookmark kellyemrick.org,
share it with colleagues, and participate in the feedback loop that turns
promising ideas into trusted tools for leaders.
