Across industries and organizational contexts, conversations occur about how leaders can integrate empathy into their management styles to promote trust, foster innovation, and enhance workplace well-being. While many associate empathies with emotional sensitivity and compassionate understanding, there remains a misunderstanding that empathic leaders might be less transparent or less firm when articulating directives and performance expectations.
